National Missing Children's Day 2024 Poster Winner

The Office of Juvenile Justice and Delinquency Prevention (OJJDP) announces the availability of OJJDP News @ a Glance,?May 2024.

This month?s feature stories highlight OJJDP?s 41st annual National Missing Children?s Day commemoration, which included a panel discussion on children missing from care, and an OJJDP-funded program in northwest Oregon supporting youth who age out of foster care.

?From the Administrator?s Desk? features a discussion with youth leaders about ways to engage with young people to address violent crime. ?From the Field? focuses on the role played by Child Abduction Response Teams after a child is reported missing. ?Tribal Connections? highlights Missing and Murdered Indigenous Women and Girls Day.
