Conservative activist and Early Vote Action founder Scott Presler, who gained notoriety in 2019 when he organized over 200 volunteers to remove over 12 tons of trash from the City of Baltimore, was in Chicago to mobilize Black and Hispanic residents – constituencies abandoned by the Democratic Party, and register them to vote and vote early and make Joe Biden a one-term president.

The conservative social media influencer, who has amassed over 1.5 million followers on X, hit the ground running – wasting no time during his brief visit. On Wednesday evening, Presler visited The Three Headed Eagle Alliance in Geneva – a suburb west of downtown Chicago, where he addressed hundreds of conservative grassroots activists on the importance of registering voters and voting early.

Presler also met with DuPage County Sheriff James Mendrick and toured the county jail. Mendrick places an emphasis on “rehabilitation” at his jail – where there are virtual welding classes, a garden that supplies produce for local food pantries, vocational training and education courses and a “Redemption Studio” that covers gang tattoos for inmates wanting to turn their life around. Presler also met with inmates and discussed his voter registration efforts, saying,

“When you guys are integrated back into society, I want to make sure that you become a part of the community and that you vote – and that you make sure you’re trying to impact your communities for the better. That’s my goal.”
