Hi John,
We're under 6 months away from election day!
One of the most important financial reporting deadlines in Bilal's campaign for Supervisor is coming up in June.
And Bilal could use your help to get there.
Would you be able to host a house party or fundraiser in June?

Hosting a house party for 10-15 neighbors and potential donors helps fuel our campaign. Our opponent has a City Hall network backing him, but we have you. And your support will get us across the finish line!
Thanks to so many of you already, we've met hundreds of District 5 residents 1:1 at house parties and heard about the priorities and issues that matter to you. These house parties are informative and have helped fundraise for our campaign - they are key for continuing our momentum.
Please email us at [email protected], and we can help you set up a house party!

Bilal in the News!
Bilal has been making progress on critical issues affecting our community over the last couple months, especially on public safety.
In April, he proposed a Drug Market Intervention to tackle our fentanyl crisis, which the SF Examiner noted was based on innovative models developed by the US Department of Justice that have successfully ended open air drug markets across the USA.
This month, he unanimously passed a resolution with the SF Democratic Party declaring hate crimes and incidents a public health crisis, which Politico noted as "a new mindset that acknowledges reported hate crimes are sharply rising for all groups", while the Bay Area Reporter describes how the resolution calls for public health dollars to be directed to victims and survivors of hate.
And last week, Bilal announced the WAGE Act - a proposal to support our workers in the housing construction industry who are having their wages stolen by non-unionized employers, and as a result making it difficult to build much needed housing, as described in the SF Examiner.
All of these proposals represent our platform for change. New ideas, based on evidence and data, to solve some of San Francisco's most difficult challenges.
