Next week, the U.S. Senate will vote on the Right to Contraception Act, landmark legislation that would establish affirm a federal right for people to access birth control, and a corresponding right for health care providers to provide birth control and/or resources, information, and referrals on birth control. Please urge your Senators to vote yes on the Right to Contraception Act and your House Representative to continue to push for a vote on it.
Since the Dobbs decision, anti-abortion policymakers and advocates have only stepped up their attacks on contraceptive access. Whether it’s spreading falsehoods about birth control or attempting to pass policies that ban certain birth control methods, and these attacks show no sign of letting up.
Everyone deserves to be able to use the birth control method of their choosing—free from interference—and the Right to Contraception Act is a step in that direction.
That’s why Congress needs to hear from you. Can we count on you to contact your Senators today and tell them to vote for the Right to Contraception Act, and contact your Representative to encourage them to continue the push for a vote on the bill?
