President Biden's cognitive (dis)abilities were on full display in his recent speech to the NAACP in Detroit. The White House had to make nine corrections to the formal transcript of his speech, something that’s becoming more frequent by the day.
This isn't the first time the White House has had to intervene. Since the start of the year, there have been at least 148 adjustments to transcripts of his remarks. As Biden approaches a possible second term, concerns about his age and cognitive health are becoming increasingly relevant. At 81, he is already the oldest president in U.S. history, and he would be 86 by the end of a second term.
