Team,
When Governor Kemp asked me to take on the job of Georgia’s Insurance and Safety Fire Commissioner in 2019, he told me it was a job for a lawman… a job for someone who knew how to fix things.
The office was largely broken, we set out to change things, and we started by putting consumers and families first.
Over the last several years, we’ve:
—> Recovered more than $50 million for Georgia taxpayers.
—> Fielded thousands of calls across the state.
—> Launched an online claims portal.
—> Helped thousands of Georgians who’d almost given up.
These issues may not be talked about in speeches or on TV, but they’re issues that impact working families and their lives.
We’re putting them first. And while we have more work to do, I’m proud of what we’ve already accomplished.
