Trump commemorates Memorial Day with unhinged rant targeting "human scum"
Always one to keep things classy, the MAGA cult leader commemorated Memorial Day — a holiday meant to honor fallen military members — with a self-centered rant aimed at “human scum,” attacking enemies real and imagined, including judges presiding over several of the disgraced ex-president's legal trials. Very stable genius stuff. [RETWEET THAT!]

VIDEO OF THE DAY: Trump gets one final humiliation at Libertarian Party convention as attendees deliver crushing blow
The disgraced ex-president, after being mercilessly booed to his face at the Libertarian National Convention Saturday night, managed just SIX nominating votes in the final tally — ten less then some guy named "TOAD" and just five more than Stormy Daniels. Seriously.

Israeli spy chief "threatened" ICC prosecutor over war crimes inquiry
The former head of the Mossad, Israel’s foreign intelligence agency, allegedly threatened a chief prosecutor of the International Criminal Court in a series of secret meetings in which he tried to pressure her into abandoning a war crimes investigation, The Guardian has revealed. Former Mossad head Yossi Cohen’s covert contacts with the ICC’s then prosecutor, Fatou Bensouda, took place in the years leading up to her decision to open a formal investigation into alleged war crimes and crimes against humanity in occupied Palestinian territories. That investigation, launched in 2021, culminated last week when Bensouda’s successor, Karim Khan, announced that he was seeking an arrest warrant for Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu over the country’s conduct in its war in Gaza — an outcome Israel’s military and political establishment has long feared.
New defamation lawsuit "on the table" after Trump attacks E. Jean Carroll — yet again
The serially indicted con man has already lost two defamation lawsuits brought against him by E. Jean Carroll, and there could be another one on the way. In a Truth Social post on Monday, Trump once again targeted Carroll and the judges who awarded her $83 million in her most recent defamation case. Though he didn't refer to Carroll by name, it was clear she is the “woman” he once again called a liar in his post, which quickly caught the attention of Carroll’s lawyer Roberta Kaplan, who indicated that her team is considering more legal action against the disgraced ex-president amid his continued attacks. Some men you just can't reach.

Trump pledges to expel American college students protesting Israel in private meeting with donors
During a closed-door meeting with wealthy donors earlier this month, the disgraced ex-president casually pledged to expel pro-Palestinian student protesters from the United States. Never mind the fact that many — if not the majority — of protesting students are American citizens and cannot simply be deported or expelled from their homeland. According to The Washington Post, Trump told donors that the demonstrators were part of a "radical revolution," a movement he would personally set back 25 or 30 years if elected. Nope, nothing terrifying, autocratic, or downright Orwellian here. Just totally normal political speak from the leader of the Republican Party.

Republicans irked that Herschel Walker is sitting on millions in unspent campaign funds
The former footballer-turned-GOP-Senate-candidate ran a historically awful race in 2022, fumbling what should have been an easy Republican victory. And while few Republicans are clamoring for Walker’s return to politics since he lost to Raphael Warnock nearly two years ago, they sure are interested in his leftover campaign cash. Walker is sitting on more than $4 million in unused campaign funds and seems to have no intention of using the money to help the GOP or Donald Trump in the key battleground state in November. Could it be that the former Heisman Trophy winner is eyeing another campaign down the line? To that we have but one reply: Run, Herschel, run!
