Secession is usually a term that’s thrown around by Texans. They talk about leaving the US entirely so that they can be their own country like they once were. This time, however, it is [rural counties in Oregon]([link removed]) using the term.

Those in rural Oregon aren’t liberal. They don’t share the same values as those in highly populated cities like Portland. As such, they want to secede so that they’re not stuck with yet another Democrat in charge.
