In the words of President Abraham Lincoln, they gave “the last full measure of devotion.” They gave everything so we could live in peace and prosperity, free from tyranny and oppression.
On this Memorial Day, let’s renew our commitment to the principles of freedom that these heroes fought and died for. And let’s remember that freedom is not free; it’s our duty to protect and preserve it for future generations.
