Yesterday, before our Kingdom to the Capitol revival in Maine, I came across this memorial and stirred up a deep level of gratitude for both our men and women in uniform and the generations who served this nation before them.

On this Memorial Day, it's good to reflect on the fact that we live in the greatest nation in history, defended by the most powerful in history, but we cannot let the size and scope of our military distract from the fact that the freedoms we enjoy today have been bought and paid for by generations of service members.
