My name is Mary Ann Ruiz. I’m a married mother of two young daughters, the child of Cuban exiles, and a Catholic. I’m also staunchly pro-choice. 

When I am faced with hard times or a difficult decision, I lean on my faith, search my conscience, and do what I believe to be the right thing. 

The government should have no place in this process.
