Last week, I was honored to join Qasim Rashid in conversation on SiriusXM to discuss the power of young leaders in politics and Future Coalition’s mission as we approach this November’s election.

I’m always grateful for the chance to amplify the amazing work that young changemakers are putting in across the country, day in and day out.

From the thousands of students who are leading peaceful protests for a ceasefire in Gaza to the recipients of our Youth Direct Action Fund grants who are making direct change in their communities, young people are leading the way on what matters most.

And right now, when many in the political establishment are turning a blind eye to the needs and demands of young people, we need adult allies to step up and support their fight for justice.

Friend, the truth is that whether or not you do politics, politics is going to do you. Whether or not you cast your vote, march in protest, or add your voice to the conversation, you’re a part of what’s happening in your local community and your country.

So I hope you’ll join the youth-powered movement we’re fueling at Future Coalition. In the coming months, we’ll share opportunities to get involved and volunteer with local, progressive campaigns and help amplify young voices – so stay tuned!
