John: You won’t believe this, but tomorrow is BOTH pro-choice champion Janelle Stelson and MAGA extremist Scott Perry’s birthday. We want to rub Janelle’s grassroots power in Scott Perry’s face (especially on her birthday), so here’s what we’re trying to do: raise $5,000 before the end of the day — all in honor of Janelle’s happy day!
Although they share the same birthday, they could not be more opposite. While Janelle will fight to ensure the protections guaranteed under Roe, Perry has supported a national abortion ban every Congress since 2018. We deserve better than having an anti-choice MAGA insurrectionist represent us.
The good news is we have a chance to defeat Perry in November and make this the worst year of his life. Perry has less cash on hand than any Republican incumbent in a competitive general election campaign. If we outraise him this quarter, we can put this race in the spotlight as one of the most flippable seats in the country.
But John, we’ve set a May fundraising goal, and we’re currently behind. We don’t want to have to tell Janelle we’re behind on her birthday.
That’s why we have to raise $5,000 by tonight at midnight to keep us on pace to reach our special birthday goal and show Perry how serious we are (even on his birthday).
