“Then he continued, “Do not be afraid, Daniel. Since the first day that you set your mind to gain understanding and to humble yourself before your God, your words were heard, and I have come in response to them.”
Daniel 10:12

As I read through chapter 10 of the book of Daniel this week, I couldn’t shake the words spoken by the angel who visited Daniel in a vision. He told him that his words were heard. So often we can grow impatient in prayer and feel like our pleas to God go unanswered and unheard, but that is not the case. We may not see visions of angels coming to explain things to us, but we can be certain that our prayers are heard. If we humble ourselves before God and bring our hopes, desires, and pleas to Him, we can trust that He hears them. They likely won’t be answered how we think, but even the doors that look closed are just another way for God to reveal HIS ultimate plan for us.

Our prayers matter. Being diligent and faithful in prayer matters. Keep praying and trust that He hears you.
