We brought the receipts. The Roundup is a weekly production of the Tarrant County GOP to bring you the latest headlines on conservative victories, upcoming events, and opportunities to make a difference in Tarrant County. Help Us Expose Radical Leftists in Tarrant County. CLICK HERE to DONATE TODAY TCU Liberals in Fort Worth Schools Last week we discussed the rampant anti-semitism and transgenderism among TCU professors, particularly in the Women and Gender Studies Department (WGST). Since then, some of the professors we discussed have locked down their social media. The pressure is working. We have secured copies of contracts and teaching materials from Fort Worth ISD linking the school district to TCU sexual radicalism. It turns out that WGST not only advocates for radical racial and transgender ideology at TCU but in Fort Worth ISD. It's worse than you thought, and we have receipts. TCU has a serious influence over FWISD. Not only, as you will see, have they hosted many trainings for FWISD teachers on radical sexual ideology in the classroom, but they even host an annual conference on "Multicultural Education" on TCU's campus for FWISD teachers. For everything that we discuss here, the link below in red contains a folder with the documents received directly from Fort Worth ISD. You can read the receipts yourself. There are many instances where TCU's more radical elements have contracted with FWISD. One such entity - the Comparative Race and Ethnic Studies Department (CRES) has on its faculty Dr. Randa Tawil, who we uncovered last week has publicly denied the sexual assault against Jews on October 7th, and Nino Testa, who is an infamous drag performer and teacher of drag at TCU. The Multicultural Education Institute put on by TCU for FWISD teachers includes lessons on "Why Gender Studies" which promotes the same department that has an anti-semitism problem and actively promotes abortion. The slideshow arguing for gender studies in high school says that protecting women is "benevolent sexism." Is this the kind of thing that should be promoted to minors in Fort Worth? We think not. Again, you can view the contracts and the slideshows yourself using the link below. Access the Files Here SPLC in FWISD? We've talked about the radicalism that TCU is bringing into Fort Worth ISD, but what has FWISD managed to bring in without TCU's help? Well, quite a bit. Contracts and payment receipts from FWISD show that the school district has paid for teacher training from "Learning for Justice." Learning for Justice (LFJ) is a project of the Southern Poverty Law Center (SPLC), the far-left anti-conservative activism group that, as we previously covered, Mayor Mattie Parker and FW City Manager David Cooke warmly welcomed to Fort Worth to lecture on the dangers of "white supremacy" and "January 6th," particularly among the police. So what does Learning for Justice teach? Since we know they have trained FWISD teachers, we should be concerned about what they espouse. What they do teach is, in fact, concerning. They are very clear, and training materials reiterate multiple times that teachers should hide the preferred sexual and gender identities of their students from parents. Regarding classroom procedures, they suggest that teachers should "never present LGBTQ identities as up for debate," or allow students to think that these identities aren't innate qualities. While religious beliefs are allowed, they should never be used to "harass" another student, or violate your "classroom contract." Teachers are also encouraged to "bring LGBTQ role models and public figures into the classroom" to talk about LGBT identity and promote local pride parades. They even recommend that teachers encourage students to be "mentored" by local LGBTQ figures. That alone is unsettling. They also suggest that teachers should "push the boundaries" when state law prevents any of these policies. Further, students should be able to use any bathroom they want, and when traveling, "assigned hotel rooms and roommates that correspond to their gender identity." They also give teachers a list of LGBTQ books that children should read. They do recommend by age: here's a few of the books recommended for Elementary School students: Gay and Lesbian History for Kids Heather Has Two Mommies Sex is a Funny Word Who are You? The Kid's Guide to Gender Identity Blurring the Binary The Southern Poverty Law Center isn't the only far-left organization bent on sexualizing kids that Fort Worth ISD has contracted with. Another group, Blurring the Binary, works to bring transgenderism into schools. The group was founded by a Texas teacher named Melanie Stapleton. It's unclear if this person's name truly is Melanie, though. Last year, 'Melanie' crowdfunded a gender-transition surgery (which only raised $2,500 of the $25,000 requested). What is important for this newsletter is the work 'Melanie' has been doing in Texas schools. Documents we have obtained from FWISD show that Melanie Staplenton was paid to teach a "Blurring the Binary" training for the district. So what does "she" believe? Stapleton suggests that teachers should find a way to speak privately to students about their sexuality. While Blurring the Binary's website admits that, due to the current climate in schools teachers maybe shouldn't speak privately to students behind closed doors, they should do their best to speak to students about their sexuality "out of earshot." Instructions also suggests that teachers and students should "develop a plan" for what the teacher should call the student in front of parents or school staff, presumably to hide the student's transition; it also recommends that the teacher and student decide what they will call each other and what pronouns they will use in private with each other. Creepy stuff. FWISD Should Praise Pedophiles? Another training for FWISD teachers (slideshow available here), says that "Queer inclusion must be a tenet of K-12 education." The slideshow also recommends that students learn about LGBTQ heroes like Harvey Milk, the notorious sexual predator and pedophile. If you aren't familiar with Harvey Milk, he was notorious for having multiple sexual relationships with young boys. For example, he had a well-documented sexual relationship with a 16-year-old boy at the age of 33. This training slideshow presented to FWISD teachers actually recommends that students learn about him. Is this an instance of grooming? That's it for this week.
