This week, the unmanaged and unaccountable International Criminal Court demanded arrest warrants for Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and Israeli Defense Minister Yoev Gallant.

In 1998, I said the ICC is fundamentally illegitimate. This is why I unsigned the Rome Statute in 2002 for President George W. Bush, and America has kept its distance since.

Now, the ICC has intervened in an ongoing conflict, seeking arrest warrants for key Israeli officials on highly contentious charges.

The ICC has and will always be a fantasy. I need to know where you stand on this issue.

🚨 ENDORSEMENT ALERT 🚨

This week I proudly announced at least $1 million in support of Gov. Larry Hogan for the U.S. Senate in my home state of Maryland. I endorsed the former Governor and contributed to his campaign back in Feb. I was proud to be one of the first to endorse him. Maryland knows Larry Hogan. Now that he’s running for federal office, Democrats will do everything in their power to scare voters into believing he’s someone different than the person we all know and trust. The reality is, if America wants to stand tall against the likes of Russia, China, and Iran, it’s going to require competent and stable leadership at home, especially in the Senate. Larry is the obvious choice for Maryland.

Our polling efforts reveal former Governor Larry Hogan is in a tight general election race. We polled both the election and national security interests among Maryland voters. Key findings include:

● Larry Hogan is extremely well-liked in the state, with a fav/unfav of 61-31. He is more popular than President Biden.
● Hogan is overwhelmingly seen as a moderate – 40%, with only small numbers of voters saying they identify with the political extremes.
● Maryland voters are pessimistic about the future, with nearly 60% saying the country is heading in the wrong direction.
● Nearly half of Maryland voters think World War 3 is somewhat/very close, reflecting a huge level of anxiety.

Driving the Week: I wrote an Op-Ed for The Hill, 'Hamas is just a part of Iran’s multi-front war against Israel and the West.' The Biden administration is seriously mistaken to believe the Middle East’s only real conflict is in Gaza. Read the entire text here.

Critical Context: Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s government has not yet finished Hamas off militarily, largely because of intense White House pressure, now approaching a crescendo, not to do so.

My Final Word: The Biden administration is seriously mistaken to believe the Middle East’s only real conflict is in Gaza. Hamas is but one part of a larger Iranian-led provocation. Our persistent failure to see the greater picture only invites more trouble.

On CNN, I was clear that twisting symbols of American patriotism and applying these new meanings to Supreme Court Justices is over the line. The flag flown at Justice Alito's home is not controversial.

Critical Context: A flag with deep roots in the American Revolution was seen flying outside Justice Alito’s home. Just because this flag was seen on January 6 does not mean it has lost its true meaning.

My Final Word: It's absurd to expropriate a patriotic flag, with origins dating back to the Revolution. This whole thing is just wrong.

This week I joined NewsNation to discuss the death of Iranian President Raisi. His death is not going to stop Iran’s war against Israel, in fact the regime may even get more aggressive as a distraction and show of strength as they navigate an election. Iran is in a fragile state domestically and will do whatever it takes to gain control.

Critical Context: I would not be surprised if Iran stepped up its aggression worldwide in the wake of Iranian President Raisi's death. This is common practice among authoritarian regimes while dealing with internal, domestic problems.

My Final Word: This is an extraordinary moment for the opposition in Iran. A presidential election could be the moment when the regime fractures at the top and is most vulnerable.

I also joined NEWSMAX to discuss the illegitimate nature of the International Criminal Court. As I have been saying since 1998, the ICC is fundamentally illegitimate. Jerusalem and Washington should not cooperate in any way with the ICC.
