Arizona Republican Party We need your support to fight this injustice and
uphold the integrity of our electoral process.
Patriots,
We are facing a critical moment in Arizona's political landscape, and we need
your support to ensure a fair and transparent electoral process.
LD29 Republican Precinct Committeemen selected James Taylor to replace Rep.
Austin Smith, who voluntarily withdrew his candidacy on April 18, 2024.
Following this decision, the Arizona Republican Party promptly submitted the
necessary nomination paper and declaration for James Taylor, adhering to A.R.S.
§ 16-343(B). Despite fulfilling all legal requirements, Acting District
Chairman Stephen Skvara’s filing was unjustly rejected by the Secretary of
State earlier today.
This is unacceptable. The Maricopa County ballots for the July 30, 2024,
primary election have not yet been printed, and Arizona law mandates a review
of sample ballots by county party chairmen and candidates before the official
ballots are finalized. Our submission for James Taylor was timely and legally
compliant.
The Arizona Republican Party demands that both the Secretary of State and the
Maricopa County Recorder fulfill their statutory obligations by accepting James
Taylor’s nomination and including his name on the primary ballot. We are fully
prepared to take legal action to ensure that the voters of LD29 are fairly
represented and that their choice is honored on the ballot.
We need your support to fight this injustice and uphold the integrity of our
electoral process.

that the integrity of our election process is maintained.
Thank you for standing with us in this critical fight for fair ballot access.
