With Democrats holding such a small majority in the Virginia Legislature, the Lt. Governor’s role as tie-breaker for the Senate is beyond important. If Youngkin’s abortion ban had tied on the Senate floor, Lt. Governor Sears would have voted for it and there would be an abortion ban in our Commonwealth today.
