Dear Neighbor,

I am writing to you today to invite you to an important community input meeting regarding the upcoming Soundview Skatepark.

I have worked alongside Mayor Eric Adams, NYCEDC, NYC Parks, and Tony Hawk’s non-profit the Skatepark Project to make this $7 million capital investment in our community a reality. Soundview will soon be home to a state-of-the-art skatepark that will revitalize a dilapidated section of our park, bring a necessary outlet for young people, and create recreation alongside all our green space.

Now is the time I am calling you to action! It is critical that we all make sure our voices are heard in every aspect of this project, especially when it comes to new development.

Join us next Wednesday, May 29th at P.S 107, 1695 Seward Avenue for the community input meeting. Make sure to  RSVP  and share this information with your friends, family, and neighbors. See you then!

In Community,

Hon. Amanda Farías

Majority Leader, Council District 18
