With so much at stake, access to trustworthy, local news has never been more important. But for too many Americans, that access isn’t possible right now.
Instead, their social media feeds, inboxes, and even local television stations are full of right-wing propaganda, conspiracy theories, and outright lies.
This reality led us to launch COURIER, John. Right now, our journalists in ten 2024 battleground states are debunking right-wing misinformation and providing critical local news coverage to communities without access to trustworthy news.
And to keep our journalism accessible to the communities who need it most, none of our stories are locked behind paywalls or subscription fees. All of our news is free to read in the online spaces where right-wing lies spread.
