We’ll always be here to remind him who he really is.
John,
Last week, Houston was impacted by a deadly storm causing widespread damage across the city and surrounding areas.
Since then, Houston has come together as community leaders work to pick up the pieces and start the long and costly process of cleanup and repairing the damage.
But there's one person we're sure no one wanted to hear from.
That's right, John — Ted Cruz decided to offer us his two cents.
Does he think we forgot the time he fled our state during a historic blizzard?
Because, we certainly haven't. And we're making sure Texans haven't either. Can you chip in $5 right now to power our efforts to reach and mobilize Texans to Cut Cruz this November?
But Ted is right about one thing. When faced with natural disasters, Texans do come together. Ted Cruz heads to Cancun instead.
No matter how many times he tries, Ted will never be able to justify the fact that he was on vacation while his constituents froze in their homes. Whether you’re a Democrat, Republican, or Independent — that is unforgivable.
Texas needs strong, competent leaders to respond to an increasing number of natural disasters. We need leaders who will work to rally their communities and constituents, not a lazy grandstander who decides to take a last minute holiday at the expense of his constituents.
John, if you're able to, please contribute $5 to boost our resources to Cut Cruz this fall.
