Dear John,

There’s much to do in the six week build-up to the UK’s next general election.

As campaigning kicks off and the UK enters a state of electoral frenzy, we don’t want to lose sight of one of our key policy objectives: Proportional Representation.

We started this petitioncalling on Keir Starmer to prioritise proportional representation in order to save our democracy –  knowing that an election could be called at any time. Now the election’s on and we want to add to the 35,000 signatures already on there!

We need your help to get the signature count as high as possible before the next government is formed.

Just imagine if we could march up to the Labour leadership with 50,000 signatures – or higher.

Starmer and his team need to understand the monumental importance of electoral reform, and how much we risk losing if we don’t replace our broken First-Past-the-Post system in time for the 2029 election. They need to see that the will of the people is behind a fairer and more functional democracy.

Help us out by signing the petition, and sharing it far and wide amongst friends and family. Let’s make July 4th the last election ever held under First-Past-the-Post.

Happy election season! Let’s make this one count.
