Hello and welcome to my election update!

The PM has finally found his bottle and given the British people to chance to have their say on the last 14 years of Tory rule. I want to say a big thank you to my constituents in Audenshaw, Dukinfield, Reddish, and the Heatons, for all the support they have shown me over the last 19 years as the local MP. 

Because of boundary changes, my constituency is changing at this election, and I will be the Labour candidate for the new Gorton & Denton constituency. 

Over the coming weeks, I look forward to getting out campaigning across Gorton & Abbey Hey, Longsight, Levenshulme, Burnage, and of course Denton, with all the details of our campaign sessions to follow shortly!

The choice at this election is clear: A Conservative Party who will continue to wreak havoc on our community, or a Labour Party that stands ready to change the country. 

Change, that's what this campaign is all about. 

Let's go out and make it happen. 

Elections are many things, but one thing they are not is cheap.
 

Leaflets, posters, gardens stakes, social media advertisements, there is so much that goes into a successful campaign, and that cannot be done without funds. 

We know the Tories have gamed the system, massively increasing spending limits so their billionaire donors can throw even more money at their failed party. 

If we are to win this election, we need to fight them all the way. 

So, anything you can spare, big or small, will all go into our campaign battle fund, helping beat the Tories so we can change our country.
