John,

Last week, President Biden and Donald Trump agreed to participate in two
presidential debates this summer — the first of which is next month.

This got us thinking...about our part-time senator debating Colin Allred.
What do you think,
John? [ [link removed] ]Should Allred and Cruz
debate?

In 2018 — the last time Ted was up for election, many agreed that his
then-Democratic rival, Beto O’Rourke trounced him in the debate.

Which isn't exactly surprising to us,
John. Among many other things,
Ted Cruz isn't good at debating — because he knows that his far-right
views are vastly out of step with most Texans.

Moreover, candidate debates allow the public — especially those who aren’t
as tuned into politics an opportunity to not only get to know the
candidates running, but to see the crucial differences between them.

And Ted Cruz and Colin Allred could not be any different from one another.

Ted Cruz has spent his last 12 years in the Senate doing anything else
other than the job he was elected to do.

Meanwhile, Colin Allred's record shows his deep commitment to working for
the communities and constituents he was elected to represent—and we think
this makes a huge difference.

Debates can make or break elections,
John. And we think if given
the chance to debate, Colin Allred will demonstrate to Texans exactly why
we need to Cut Cruz this November.

But we want to know what you think. [ [link removed] ]Should Colin Allred and Ted Cruz
