Everyone on Team Monica has been working hard to respond to the historic floods that impacted our region earlier this year.

On the Board: Providing impacted families with property tax relief and protection from predatory lending practices.

And on the ground: Working with compassionate and dedicated volunteers from the Southeast Disaster Response Team to rebuild our communities.

Investing in our People:
1. $28.6 million towards funding immediate relief efforts for storm and flood damage.
2. $61 million secured in federal aid to support communities impacted by the storms.
3. $1 million to combat opioid misuse and overdoses city, region, and state-wide.
4. Strengthened access to safe and legal reproductive care and medication.

Plans for the budget and beyond:
1. Cannabis Social Equity Program
2. Supporting Kaiser health workers and their patients
3. Investing in neighborhood parks
and libraries
