David Dickason 2024 Police Commissioner Election Results

David Dickason joined the English Democrats in 2020 and is the East Midlands Chairman.

David is a retired senior police officer and stood in the recent Police and Crime Commisioner election in Lincolnshire for the English Democrats.

This was the first time that an English Democrat had stood in this election in Lincolnshire.

This was also the first major election in which David has been a candidate he achieved 7,739 votes or 7.15% of the total vote.

The incumbent Marc Jones (Conservative) was re-elected with 39,639 votes, 36.63% of the total number of 108,207 votes. The turn out was only 19.08%.

Due to the geographical size of Lincolnshire David concentrated along the East coast canvassing and leafleting for eight weeks prior to the election, over 4,000 leaflets were distributed.

David would like to thank the members who assisted him with his campaign and those who donated via the party towards the cost of the leaflets.

Although we didn’t win the election we did save the deposit (£5000) AND we achieved a lot of publicity for the party on line, also on television and a live radio debate on BBC radio Lincolnshire!

This has enlightened a lot of people in Lincolnshire about the English Democrats which should assist us in the future.

The next election David will be contesting will be the General Election standing in Boston and Skegness.
