Georgia’s primary date is moving, Friend. Our election has officially been changed from May 19th to Tuesday, June 9th.
The Georgia Secretary of State’s office has mailed out absentee ballot request forms to all active voters. You will need to mark the Democratic Party ballot and mail the form back to vote in this important U.S. Senate race.

Once officials receive your form, they will mail you the actual ballot. And if you voted early in the Presidential Preference election, you must request this ballot to be able to vote in the Senate primary.

Ensuring that as many voters as possible request their absentee ballot now is how we will protect the right to vote without needlessly risking public health by forcing in-person voting during a pandemic.

Today I’m asking you to commit to voting by mail in Georgia and wherever it is allowed across the country to stop the spread of this pandemic. Please join me in making this important commitment here: [[link removed]]

Social distancing during the COVID-19 pandemic is the most important action any one of us can take to flatten the curve and stop the spread of the coronavirus. I will not accept a scenario like the one Wisconsin’s Republican legislature cruelly and recklessly imposed on its voters with in-person election conducted in only 5 polling places in the entire state.
Governor Kemp closed polling places as Secretary of State presiding over his own election against Stacey Abrams — we must vote by mail in the highest proportion possible to protect our right to vote while remaining safe. Please join me.
Yours truly,
Teresa
