Through weekly exercises, Living Without Shame helps moms move their focus onto themselves, learn to practice self-care, and experience their own recovery journey by shedding the shame that so often dwells in the minds of parents.
Having dealt with two children with the disease of addiction, as shared in her powerful family narrative, Without Shame, Barbara Theodosiou knows the unique struggles moms face. In her new follow-up support book, Living Without Shame, her goal is to help mothers find their way forward to experience more peace and happiness with no more shame.
Theodosiou is a mother, activist, and the founder of The Addict's Mom, an online community where nearly 100,000 mothers of children with substance use disorder "share without shame." Theodosiou has been widely recognized for her work as a family recovery advocate and received the White House Champion of Change award in 2016.
