Democrats are fighting to flip and win seats in Congress everywhere, including a NEW congressional district in Alabama: AL-02.
Late last year, Alabama's congressional map was redrawn after federal judges ruled district boundaries prevented Black Alabamians from being adequately represented in Congress.
The new district has a 49% Black voting age population, and the district lines are drawn so Black voters can elect a candidate that fairly represents them.
However, even though political analysts say this new seat is 'Likely Democrat' in their rating, Alabama Democrats are taking nothing for granted. They're working overtime to bring this district home for congressional Democrats in November.
