John, learning yesterday that Bernie Sanders ended his campaign for President was hard. It isn't the news I wanted to wake up too.

John, learning yesterday that Bernie Sanders ended his campaign for President was hard. It isn't the news I wanted to wake up too.

I am so grateful for what Bernie has done these last 5 years. Dedicating himself to the working-class people of America. Igniting a political revolution that has brought real change to communities all over this nation. A revolution based on peace and justice. A revolution that continues on in the hearts and minds of millions of Americans.

Who would have thought that in just a few years we'd be looking at so many progressive Democrats winning elections, at all levels, on platforms based on Bernie's campaign. Legalizing Marijuana, Ending Big Money in politics, Debt-Free College, Universal health care, racial justice, are all issues that are being embraced in mainstream Democratic politics.

Bernie showed us that we must think big. We must be bold. And we must build a critical mass of grassroots supporters from around the country, speaking loudly and clearly - that enough is enough! He transformed the political landscape, he advanced the narrative of fundamental human rights being guaranteed in the wealthiest nation in the history of the world.

He showed us what is possible if we come together.

Yesterday was tough. And like you, I'm still working through what the future may hold for our progressive movement. But I am motivated by the thousands of people who are already supporting our progressive campaign here in Georgia.

John, you are giving me the encouragement to fight on. To champion the issues Bernie ran on. To see a groundswell of support rising from the local level. Pushing change forward, now.

I'm not giving up. I'm carrying on. I won't stop until the impossible, becomes the improbable, becomes the reality. Just like Bernie showed us can be done.

Bernie Sanders ignited a movement that has spread like wildfire. A wildfire that is breathing new life and energy into communities all over America. We know that another world is possible, and we pledge to make it real.

In solidarity,

- Ted
