Join us for the Rally outside Parliament in response to their schemes!

Dear
SPUC supporter,
The first day of the Report Stage of the Criminal Justice Bill takes place tomorrow, Wednesday 15th May. Over the weekend, The Guardian put out an editorial ([link removed]) endorsing Stella Creasy’s extreme decriminalisation amendment.

Pro-abortion MPs and their allies in the media are desperately pushing to get this or Diana Johnson’s equally extreme amendment through. And it’s no wonder that they’re desperate. Pro-life campaigning has made such an impact that the Government has indicated that they don’t want this fight at all – listing the amendments right at the bottom of the list for the second day of debate.

But the Speaker of the Commons ultimately chooses what amendments are debated and voted on. We need to keep up the pressure on MPs to oppose these amendments, and, if it comes to it, to vote against them.

It’s very easy to write to your MP using our webtool. Please also send the tool to others. We need all the emails we can get!
