[ [link removed] ]The Oregonian: 2 candidates for 3rd Congressional District join forces
to criticize outside spending on rival Maxine Dexter
Two big dark-money PACs are pouring HUGE amounts of money into a
Democratic congressional primary in Oregon – completely turning the May 21
   election on its head.
The two leading progressives in the race held a rare joint event calling
out the corrupt attempt to buy this seat for the third candidate in this
   race.
The last-minute deluge of 3 million dollars – timed to escape disclosure
laws, so voters don’t know the source – is more money than both leading
progressives have spent combined! They need our help to fight back in the
   final days.
[ [link removed] ]Can you donate $6 to help Susheela Jayapal and Eddy Morales rapidly
respond and fight back against this dark-money attempt to buy a
   congressional seat?
The Oregonian newspaper reports a "big last-minute boost" from Republican
donors for Maxine Dexter, the third major candidate in this race. The
Intercept reports, "AIPAC and Republican Donors Raising Big Money For
   Maxine Dexter."
In this deep blue congressional district, the winner of the May 21 primary
will be the next member of Congress. It would be absurd for Portland,
Oregon – of all places – to not have strong progressive representation.
And to be corrupted by dark money.
Ballots have already hit mailboxes in Oregon. Every day matters. We need
to act now. Can you help?
