The White House, D.C. bureaucrats, and radical environmentalists are continuing to force electric vehicle mandates on the American public. They are pushing these mandates despite the fact that they will decimate Michigan jobs, hurt American energy dependence, and harm the financial well-being of marginalized, predominantly black communities.

I am leading the fight against Biden’s EV mandate. These mandates would decimate our shipping, trucking, and manufacturing industries. A mandate for EVs will result in the loss of jobs and higher prices for everything.

Biden’s Mandate is simply bad for families, bad for automakers, bad for Michigan, and bad for all of America. I will not stand idly by while Biden decimates Michigan’s economy to win some votes from radical climate extremists. I introduced a resolution to STOP Biden’s de-facto EV mandate. This CRA would nullify Biden’s rule and take a stand that we will not submit to his agenda that leaves our people and automakers behind. Michigan is not afraid of the future, but we demand to be a part of it.

It’s time to stop Biden’s radical agenda and say NO to an EV mandate.
