Trump recently gave an extensive interview with Time Magazine to discuss
his plans for a second term should he win again this November.

It’s chilling — his plans are more radical and extremist than we could
have imagined.

* Pardon all protestors involved in the January 6th insurrection.
* Deport millions of immigrants and build detention camps.
* Fire U.S. Attorneys who go after his political enemies.
* Gut the federal government of civil servants and fill key positions
with election deniers.
* Let states monitor women’s pregnancies.
* Back away from supporting crucial American allies.

The. list. goes. on.

Most terrifyingly, Trump and his advisors are crafting executive orders to
give the commander-in-chief more power, doing away with important checks
and balances from other branches of government.

You don’t have to be a fear monger,
John, to take the threat of
Donald Trump seriously. You only have to listen to what he says.

Our work starts by making sure voters know what a second Trump
administration would really look like. By defending our institutions and
shoring up support for our democracy in every way we can.

And by electing people to the Senate to continue to hold Trump to account,
whether or not he is back in the White House.

For years, I’ve been on the frontlines of the efforts to safeguard our
institutions from Donald Trump. It’s made me his public enemy number one,
but I’ve never backed down from the challenge.
