Friends,

As Illinois’ small business community continues to confront the daily consequences of the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, I want to make our local business community aware of an upcoming informational opportunity.

On Monday, April 13 the Illinois Department of Commerce and Economic Opportunity (DCEO) and the Illinois Chamber of Commerce will be partnering together to host a free webinar for members of the local business community. From 1:00 to 2:30 p.m., small businesses in the region can tune in to the webinar to learn more about current state and federal assistance programs available to small businesses in the area. DCEO Director Erin Guthrie and her team will also be answering questions throughout the event.

The COVID-19 health situation has taken a major toll on our small business community, leaving many small businesses in need of serious relief and assistance. This webinar will provide helpful information about the programs available to our small business employers, and also create an open forum to ask questions about navigating this situation in the weeks ahead.

Interested small business owners should register for the webinar at https://zoom.us/s/868478836 or by e-mailing [email protected].
