You know me, I’m a fan of all things Michigan — especially our sports teams! And since baseball season just started, there’s plenty of time to catch a game and root for our Tigers.⚾️ [[link removed]]

That’s why I figured now would be the best time to put my baseball knowledge to use to ask for your support. Right off the bat, I can think of a few similarities between politics and baseball.

We have opponents. While the Tigers face other experts, my opposition just so happens to be a GOP election-denying extremist who is a threat to our democracy.

We’re thrown curveballs. More figuratively than literally for our campaign, but the Republican dark $$$ that is used to attack Michigan is no joke.

We’re in the major leagues. The MLB isn’t quite the same as Congress, but we both have eyes on us at all times looking for our next play — gameplans and legislation alike.

And if we’re unprepared to handle these things, well…that’s three strikes and we’re out!

That’s why I’m writing to you today to make a pitch — you support our campaign, and I’ll continue covering our bases in Congress to make sure our values are represented.

So, what do you say? Will you help us hit a homerun on our End-of-Month goal by pitching in $5, $10, $25 or whatever feels right before Tuesday’s deadline? [[link removed]]
