John, now that we’re on to the general election, the real fight begins.

The first week of the general election is critical and here's what’s happening:

First, Tuesday is our first budget deadline post-primary and we’re officially setting up our general election fund.

Then, my team has our general election strategy session where we’ll be assessing our funding status and mapping out our path to victory with our trusted advisors and staff.

I’ve been running through the numbers with Luke, and we’re confident that if we can raise another $12,000 before Tuesday we’ll have what we need to start building out an effective voter contact and engagement strategy we can implement immediately. We just need to get the resources in place so we can plan.

This primary season showed us that timing is everything and we can’t take any moment for granted. Especially with a MAGA war chest and deep-pocketed special interests eyeing races like mine — we cannot let our extremist opponent gain any ground.
