Hi, John
It's Governor Tim Walz. I know Kansans are on the right track to electing more Democrats because I’ve seen and helped make it happen in Minnesota.
Historically, Minnesota hasn't been the blue state that many people see today. In truth, it is much more purple.
But our Democratic-Farmer-Labor Party, as it is called in Minnesota, runs campaigns from the grassroots. Each year we put together a plan to win races over the long term and find strong candidates to step up to run for office.
To execute, it takes time and dedication to build the infrastructure needed – knocking on doors, working with county party leaders and candidates, and investing in the state party.
I saw the strong efforts of the Kansas Democratic Party when I was in town last month for the annual Washington Days convention. And I know they can get this work done, but they need your support to make it happen. Will you donate to the Kansas Democratic Party today? [[link removed]]

After building the party and electing more Democrats over time, in 2022, we gained a Democratic trifecta in our state government by one State Senate seat. We didn’t waste a second passing a sweeping people-first agenda that included free lunches for all public-school students, legalized adult-use cannabis, codified abortion rights and reproductive freedom, and paid family and medical leave.
This outcome was not inevitable. It was the result of hard work from so many people across the state over many years. I know Kansas Democrats have great potential to build on their current and recent electoral successes.
It takes a passionate people-first organization to get build political power, and I think the Kansas Democrats are doing just that. They can't do it on their own, though – which is where folks like you come in. The Kansas Democrats are fighting to get you the representation you deserve, John; Can you pitch in today to help them do it? [[link removed]]
