Food is powerful. Recently, we’ve taken you on a journey into communities in the Philippines to meet children whose stomachs are being filled with life-changing meals, and to meet the mothers and school staff who are lovingly preparing this food – food that has the power to rewrite the stories that were pre-written for those facing systemic hunger and poverty. 

More children and families deserve this chance to rewrite their futures. At the beginning of this story series, we set an ambitious goal to keep these projects going; to expand our work and meet an incredibly urgent need in a country where almost half of the population faces moderate or severe food insecurity.
