We're wishing you -- and everyone in our great nation -- the very best in the week ahead.

"President Donald Trump has warned that the week ahead could be the worst yet in the COVID-19 crisis, but he and other administration officials also shared a positive note Sunday, using terms such as 'glimmers of progress' and 'light at the end of the tunnel.'" [Read the full story from the Daily Signal.]

President Trump has let Americans know that a tough, somber week may be ahead for our country due to coronavirus (COVID-19). But as he said yesterday and tweeted this morning: there is "LIGHT AT THE END OF THE TUNNEL!"

The Trump Administration's update on the coronavirus response will be live at 5pm Eastern today. Though some TV networks don't carry it, you can watch it for yourself on the White House's social media accounts or on the White House's website at WhiteHouse.gov/live.

In these uncertain and unprecedented times, we wish for your continued health and safety and that of your families and your communities.

A new low: state lawmaker says she'll refer President Trump to the Hague for "crimes against humanity."

"On Sunday, an Ohio Democratic state representative ... tweeted that she wanted to prosecute President Trump at the International Criminal Court for 'crimes against humanity' for pushing the drug Hydroxychloroquine as a solution for the coronavirus COVID-19." [Read the full story from the Daily Wire.]

Last night, a current state representative in Ohio tweeted that she wanted to make a "referral" of President Trump to the International Criminal Court at The Hague for "crimes against humanity."

His supposed crime: talking publicly about how the drug Hydroxychloroquine may be helpful in the treatment of coronavirus.

In our opinion, this stunt is just plain outrageous.

But even if we were to consider the validity of this lawmaker's claim (and we definitely aren't), we'd remind her that President Trump has talked about the potential value of the treatment for some people -- and he has (rightly!) emphasized he's not a doctor and it's up to medical professionals to decide what's best for each patient.

When even the media will call out the Biden campaigns's claims, you know it's time for them to stick to the facts.

"Over the course of three weeks between March 13 and April 3, Biden was fact-checked five separate times for making false or misleading claims concerning the Trump administration's handling of the pandemic." [Read the full story from the Washington Free-Beacon.]

Joe Biden is continuing updates via video livestream for his campaign supporters as the 2020 election goes entirely remote. Unfortunately, that's still given his campaign plenty of opportunities to make misleading claims about President Trump's response to the coronavirus.

In one instance, as the Washington Free-Beacon reported, the Washington Post fact-checker said Biden's claim was "simply wrong."

A 2020 first? Biden brings up a virtual convention.

"The former vice president and 2020 Democratic frontrunner told ABC’s 'This Week' that his party's convention is 'necessary,' but added it may not be possible to bring thousands of people to one location safely amid the pandemic. 'Well, we’re gonna have to do a convention,' Biden said. 'We may have to do a virtual convention. I know I think we should be thinking about that right now.'" [Read the full story from The Hill.]

As we shared last week, the Democratic National Convention was re-scheduled from mid-July to mid-August in response to coronavirus.

Now Joe Biden, the presumptive Democratic nominee over Bernie Sanders, has said it may be a "virtual" convention. That's never been attempted before -- but there's never been circumstances like these either.

As we've said, the only guarantee is we'll see even more change in upcoming weeks ... and we'll be here to bring you the top stories about the 2020 election that you'll want to know.

We continue to wish for the health and safety of you, your family, and your community at this uncertain time. Stay safe and we'll see you later this week!
