This week’s push is working!

John, I’ve just received a VERY interesting message:
“As an ex Water Company Director, I’m ashamed of the way the industry has gone.”
Sent to me in response to our Now or Never appeal this week, this ex-director shared their horror at the state of sewage in our rivers and seas. They condemned politicians with ‘no interest in the environment’. And observed that for water companies, making profit “is the only thing that matters.”
I wanted to share it with you John, straight away to show you the impact we’re having together this week. We really are turning the tide, so much so this ex-water company exec has donated to the Now or Never appeal himself.
I want to donate too [[link removed]]
Having the backing of industry insiders is huge. This isn’t just the fight of a few environmentalists - this is everybody’s fight. And with your support, Water Companies are running out of places to hide!
If you haven’t already, please donate to our Big Give appeal today. We have less than 72 hours to hit our huge target, £43k in matched funding we can’t claim without your help, and a HUGE impact to have together. Be part of this history-making moment and donate what you can right now:
The time is now! I'll donate £20 [[link removed]] Let's keep pushing! I'll donate £35 [[link removed]] Let's make history! I'll donate £50 [[link removed]]
If you saw the headlines today, you’ll know funding for this fight is more urgent and vital than ever:
“Thames Water makes bid to increase water bills by up to 44%.”
It’s hard to believe that the public are still being asked to pay more, while water companies completely fail to deliver clean safe waters. While shareholder dividends keep rising. While fat cat salaries continue.
We can’t stand for this. We won’t stand for this. Donate to the Now or Never appeal [[link removed]] and help make sure we can take our fight to the next level this election year and turn the water industry around.
Thank you so much for your support.

P.S. When even an ex-water company director donates to our appeal - you know this change is really needed! Please donate what you can today [[link removed]] before we miss this matched funding moment: [[link removed]]
