Dear allies,

We are grateful for those who have taken the time to reach out to legislators in support of working families and front-line workers during COVID-19. However, the work is not done.

We must continue to speak out on the two bills currently ([link removed]) in the Joint Committee on Revenue Senator Tarr’s S. 1775 and Representative Poirier’s H.2607, which would extend the “Single-Tax Factor” or SSF tax break - giving massive tax breaks to wealthy corporations.

We know that corporate tax cuts are not what we need to help people struggling with the health and economic impacts of this virus. We have the opportunity to speak out against them ([link removed]) and our efforts will make a difference.

Take two minutes to share with your community or email ([link removed]) members of the Joint Committee on Revenue and urge them not to advance Senator Tarr’s S. 1775 or Representative Poirier’s H.2607 out of committee.

In Solidarity,
Community Labor United
