Happy Earth Day, John!

One thing you might not know about me is that I'm a big outdoors guy. My wife, Loretta, and I try to get out as much as we can for walks and enjoying what nature has in store for us that day. Camping with my son is still one of my fondest memories.

That's why it's so important to me that we safeguard our planet for future generations to come. Most of us are aware of the threat that the climate crisis poses to our planet, and how it endangers not just our ecosystems but our very way of life.

It's for this reason that we need to make sure that Democrats keep our majority in the Senate. So I'm asking you to make a $5 contribution to help us protect our majority and continue to fight for climate protections. [[link removed]]

It's my hope that my grandkids, and yours, and the generations that come after them inherit the world as we remember it.

Today, I hope you'll join me in doing an act of service for the betterment of our environment. Whether that's donating to a cause, cleaning up around your community, or being cognizant of your resource consumption, there are ways we can all help out.

But protecting our environment doesn't stop at good deeds, it has a lot to do with the people we elect. That's why we need to protect our Democratic Senate majority. If you can, will you chip in any amount to help re-elect pro-science Democrats and protect our Senate majority? [[link removed]]

Thanks for reading my note and be sure to take some time to go outside today!
