John,

A quarter of known bee species haven't been seen since the '90s.[1]

These wild bees are just ... gone.

Like the little Franklin's bumblebee, which hasn't been spotted since 2006.[2]

Before we lose any more bee species, we need to act to save them. That means tackling the threats to bees, including toxic pesticides, lost habitat and climate change. And that's exactly what Environment Colorado is doing.

You can help us save the bees this Earth Day with a donation. Until midnight tonight, your gift will be matched, dollar for dollar, up to $50,000 nationwide. Donate today and your gift will go twice as far for the bees.

Bees are in crisis and thousands of bee species around the world are missing.

We're holding out hope that these species haven't gone extinct altogether, and that at least a few of each wild bee species are still out there somewhere. If a small group of these wild bees can keep hanging on as we restore their habitat and stop the worst uses of bee-killing pesticides, maybe we can save them.

But whether they're extinct or there are just too few bees for scientists to find them, one thing's for sure -- if we do nothing and let pesticides continue to decimate bee populations, these little pollinators won't survive.

Will you donate to our Earth Day 2024 Drive to help save the bees? Your gift will have 2x the impact for the bees when you give before midnight.

Letting these wild bee species fade into oblivion isn't an option. That's why we've prioritized protecting special bee species at risk.

We helped get the rusty-patched bumblebee endangered species protections and are working to convince the Biden administration to protect the American bumblebee.

We're also working to restrict bee-killing pesticides to keep wild bees safe from deadly toxins.

If you give before midnight tonight, your Earth Day gift will be matched, up to $50,000 nationwide. That's double the impact for the bees. Will you donate before the deadline?
