A former Marxist guerrilla, he now wields the power of Colombia's presidency in his hands, and he has already begun to attack the same institutions he is supposed to protect. One of those institutions is the wildly popular Revista Semana, a Colombian news publication that has remained dedicated to quality investigative journalism in the face of these attacks.
