Hola mi gente, it’s Ruben.

I want to take a step back today and zero in on something Kari Lake said earlier this week.

I’m quoting her directly here… she said her supporters need to “strap on a Glock” as they work to take back Arizona’s U.S. Senate seat. A literal call to arms.

It’s disturbing for a number of reasons, not least of which is our history of political violence in Arizona.

I carried a weapon in Iraq to defend my fellow Marines, and I thought I left that behind when my tour was up. But Kari Lake would have us all living under threat of violence from her supporters.

It’s reprehensible. It’s sad. More than anything, it’s dangerous.

I’m going to do whatever I can to defeat Kari Lake, but I’m going to do it the right way — at the ballot box. And I need you with me if I’m going to get the job done.

Can I count on your support as we take the fight to Kari Lake and work to win Arizona’s seat in the U.S. Senate? If you’re with me, please chip in whatever you can to my campaign.

Your support means the world to me.
