Hi John,
Last week, Arizona’s State Supreme Court reinstated a near-complete abortion ban, originally passed in 1864.
When this abortion ban was initially passed, Arizona was nearly 50 years away from becoming a state. Women couldn’t vote or own property. That’s how far backward the Arizona Supreme Court just went — and they want to take it national.
Of the 7 states that border Colorado, all but New Mexico now restrict abortion care.
That’s why Colorado must remain a safe haven for reproductive healthcare, and we must codify reproductive rights in November.
We’re going to work nonstop from now until then to ensure that women in Colorado and six of our bordering states can safely access the care they need.
Help us continue this critically important work by chipping in whatever you can today >> [[link removed]]
This is why we fight, John. We are proud to do this work with you.
Thank you,
Colorado Dems
