It’s hard to believe that we have a candidate for Governor of Washington who is against marriage equality in 2024, but it’s true.

I personally argued the Arlene’s Flowers case before the Washington State Supreme Court after a flower shop owner refused to sell flowers to a same-sex couple for their wedding. We won the case in a 9-0 decision, guaranteeing same-sex couples the same rights as opposite-sex couples in the marketplace.
It’s not complicated or controversial. Washingtonians, and people all across the nation, should be able to marry the person they love.
