John - I wanted to send you this note since you have strongly supported the Republican party and my campaigns over the years.
In November, I will step down as Republican Senate leader and allow a new generation of leaders to come forward.
Serving Kentucky in the Senate has been the honor of my life. To lead my Republican colleagues has been my highest privilege.
But let me be very clear.
I still have enough gas in the tank to disappoint my critics thoroughly, and I intend to do so with all the enthusiasm to which they have become accustomed.
We still have so much work to do, including ensuring we flip the Senate and put Republicans back in the majority.
That’s why I am asking for your help.
The best way we can set the next Republican Leader up for success is to ensure they have a Senate GOP Majority.
We have 8 great opportunities to flip Democrat seats in 2024. That’s right, eight seats!
Democrats are going to spend millions of dollars attacking our candidates, and we must ensure they are in a position to fight back.
Can you please chip in $5, $15, $25, or even $50 to ensure our GOP candidates have the necessary resources to win?
I know you get many messages like this, so I appreciate you taking the time to read this one.
