Building new coalitions to grow the movement! WILL Holds Successful School Board Summit in Waukesha WILL held its first annual school board summit on April 12, which had over one hundred attendees, including school board members and administrators from districts around the state. At the event, WILL unveiled the Second Edition of our model school board policies and held multiple informational panels and discussions centered around improving education outcomes for Wisconsin students. We are looking forward to hold the event again next year! Read Our Full Update WILL Takes on New Legal Fight in Defense of Part Time Law Enforcement WILL Client, Noah Gausman is a single father raising his son, and he supports himself and his family by working part-time as a law enforcement officer at various agencies in Northwest Wisconsin. Unbeknownst to Mr. Gausman, a few years ago a state agency decided to unilaterally adopt a new policy which only allows full-time and not part-time officers like Mr. Gausman the ability to find new employment within three years. We are assisting him in this appeal and we hope to win on his behalf and for part time law enforcement officers across Wisconsin. Learn more about this case here. Happy Tax Day! WILL Sheds Light on Wisconsin's Referendum Process WILL just released its newest report uncovering the various transparency problems with Wisconsin’s referendum process that costs taxpayers millions of dollars every single year. WILL is also calling for significant reform to Wisconsin’s referendum process to give voters more complete information when deciding. Will Flanders joined Vicki McKenna to discuss it all.
